An 8-foot Dakota Body is a truck service or flatbed body constructed from A60 galvanneal steel, a specialized zinc-iron alloy that is highly resistant to corrosion. A60 galvanneal is more corrosion-resistant than the A40 grade used by many competitors. The "galvanized steel" provides superior durability and rust protection for utility and commercial use.

General characteristics

• Corrosion resistance: The A60 galvanneal steel is heat-treated after coating to produce a zinc-iron alloy that holds paint exceptionally well. The body is further protected with a zinc-rich primer and heavy-duty powder-coat finish.
